Engineer Technician II - (El Paso, TX)

Engineer Technician I Standard Hours: 8-5 M-F Volt seeks an Engineering Technician I in El Paso, TX. This job requires the applicant to be responsible for performing activities involving the assembling and integration of military and commercial systems including modification of military platforms. Applicants must have a basic understanding of cabling, 110-208v power, expertise to use a variety of tools, be capable of troubleshooting systems, cabling, and power on a variety of military platforms. JOB SUMMARY: * Responsible for providing support to engineers on technical projects and/or products. * Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data. * May create, build, assemble, modify and/or repair prototypes. * Prepares engineering documentation, reports, drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics, etc.). * Performs mathematical calculations per engineering specifications. * Undertakes analyses of data where guidelines are provided.
