Kennel Attendant - (Topanga, CA)

SUMMARY: responsible for handling dogs individually as well as supervising dogs in groups; performs required tasks and cleaning on a daily basis in the kennel. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Prepare and feed meals • Administer medication • Perform basic medical checks • Clean up dog urine and fecal matter • Supervise dogs in outdoor group play • Observe dogs and report behavioral issues or health concerns • Prevent and break up dog fights • Bathe dogs • Clean kennel facilities including customer lobby and bathroom • Move and organize supplies • Assist clients • Check in/out dogs • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. REQUIREMENTS: • High-school degree or general education degree (GED), or 1 to 3 mons related skills and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and background. • Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Driver's License
