Fishery Biologist with Security Clearance - (Portland, OR)

ECS is seeking a Fishery Biologist to work in our Portland, OR office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Job summary: Conduct ESA, MMPA, and MSA program consultation and document preparation activities in the North Puget Sound and Willamette Branches. Specific activities include: * Respond to inquiries from action agencies, candidates, and their representatives, provide pre-consultation technical assistance to action agencies, candidates, or their representatives. * Review consultation initiation packages for accuracy and completeness, and develop requests for further info sufficient to support initiating consultation. * Consult with action agencies and their representatives or candidates as required to ensure action agency compliance with each statute. * Prepare appropriate documentation for each consultation and follow NMFS West Coast Region protocol for quality assurance.
