Clinical microbiologist - (Pittsburgh, PA)

My client is expanding and looking to hire a Clinical Microbiologist. The perfect applicant will take on the following roles: Design experiments and perform microbiology testing for clinical samples. Generate microbiological test data reports, and develop and implement new testing procedures as needed. Develop, review, and implement policies and guidelines for the methods Ensure timely and accurate processing of samples, analyses, and reporting of test results. Oversee technical standard operating procedures, including development, validation, and approval. Monitor and maintain standards of performance in QC and QA, and ensure KPIs are met. Maintain detailed scientific records, analyzing experimental data, presenting results within the research group, and assisting manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Maintain broad knowledge of relevant healthcare guidelines, scientific principles and trends. Provide leadership to direct others in solving complex problems.
