Clinical Research Scientist - (Mechanicsburg, PA)

The Clinical Research Scientist assists the Director of Research in directing, administering, and promoting the research function for Select Medical. The Clinical Research Scientist will conduct collaborative research projects that are aligned with the strategic mission of the Research department and Select Medical to advance the field of post-ICU and post-acute research. This position will also be responsible for assisting with the dissemination of research findings. Assist in clinician development, support strategic planning efforts and communicate progress, coordinate research efforts to facilitate practical improvements in clinical care, promote the understanding of biological/psychological processes involved in the recovery of function, and ensure compliance of the research activities with all applicable federal guidelines, Institutional Review Board and other regulatory qualifications.
