Research associate/vp packaged food group, equity research - (New York, NY)

Draft research reports including, alerts, company updates, industry notes and initiations Maintaining, updating and analyzing large databases (commodities, valuation comps, product pricing etc.) including but not limited to scanner data from AIR CONDITIONED Nielsen Maintaining and updating financial models, performing due diligence and writing research reports Applicants should have a strong interest in working in the securities industry Closely monitoring food industry news and trends Interacting with company management teams, internal corporate constituencies (eg, sales and trading), and buy-side clients Conducting proprietary research covering the food industry, including but not limited to developing a proprietary contact network within the industry, attending industry conferences and summarizing findings Our NYC-based team consists of a lead analyst and an experienced associate and is looking to add another senior-level associate / VP.
