Residency Core Faculty - John Muir Health Outpatient Center - (Walnut Creek, CA)

John Muir Medical Group - is currently recruiting a Residency Core Faculty member for a new Family Medicine Residency program that opened in June of 2017. As a Residency Core Faculty member, you will take part as an Administrative Leader (min 60% clinical) and participate in all aspects of residency leadership, strategic planning, faculty and curriculum development, Clinical Competency Committee, Program Evaluation Committee, Graduate Medical Educational Committee, resident evaluations, faculty and resident interviews and selections, QI and Practice Improvement projects, curricular groups, and other administrative activities. The core faculty will attend to patients within the Family Medicine Residency Practice with a regular schedule on a weekly basis and participate in cross-coverage activities with other Family Medicine Residency Practice and Out-Patient Center physicians. The core faculty will provide approx 0.6 FTE Clinical practice which may involve both Urgent Care and Continuity Practice.
