Manager Infection Prevention-Clinical Quality-Weston Clinic - (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

Position details: Oversees the infection prevention and control ability and consultation; monitoring for epidemiological significant events; reducing the risks of and preventing health care associated infections in patients, employees and visitors; and ensuring compliance with laws, accrediting agencies and professional standards. Works closely with colleagues in a broad spectrum of clinical and administrative departments including clinical services, risk management, ambulatory care, financial, legal, human resources, operations, contracts and environmental health and safety. Position assignments: Works with clinical staff in the development and implementation of programs directed at infection prevention, surveillance and prevention of healthcare associated infections, and compliance. Coordinates operations of infection control activities. Designs and implements an effective infection control and epidemiology program and proactively identifies and addresses infection control issues.
