Production Supervisor - (Farmington, CT)

Randstad Manufacturing and Logistics is currently seeking a Production Supervisor on a direct hire basis for a premier client in the greater Hartford Marketplace.The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordination of production schedules within the assembly department. Responsibilities: Assign duties to department group leaders to coincide with current production schedules and ensure work is performed in a safe and qualified manner. Supervise, train, evaluate, and discipline department members in coordination with the union contract. Coordinate hand-offs between Assembly, Test, Paint, and QA to obtain green tags. Coordinate schedules Hold meetings to achieve production milestones and set goals for team leaders Report production status weekly to the Production Manager. Other assignments as designated by the supervisor. Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Skills: Knowledge of mechanical, and electrical practices. Excellent written and spoken communication abilities are necessary
