Product Specialist : Insurance - (Chicago, IL)

Overview This position will be focused mainly on 2 main functions: supporting the companys product development efforts and management of the companys in force business. This person reports to the Product Manager. Responsibilities Product Development Project management, including planning, communication of project goals to cross:functional implementation team and development of project plan, coordination of resources and communication of status updates for product implementations. Participate in product design activities, including industry research and discussions with cross:functional partners to develop product:based solutions to support the companys operations. Create new product form filings, ensuring state requirements for the filing are met, submit filings to the state Departments of Insurance, and follow:up, as needed, to secure timely filing approvals. Maintain an accurate database of product descriptions and status of form filings.
