Biomedical Engineer or Cell Biologist in Cancer Research - (Redwood City, CA)

Job summary Quick paced opportunity to ms excel in an R and D stage cancer diagnostic startup company. Position duties: :Processing of primary human biopsy samples and performing 3D cell:based live cell assays. :Development, execution, and accurate documentation of experimental protocols. :Independent data analysis, troubleshooting and presentation. :Assist with general lab management duties. :Adjust work hours as needed to meet deadlines :Expertise to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, handle multiple priorities and work with other teammates and external consultants. :Report directly to the Founder and CEO. Requirements :BS or higher in Biomedical Engineering or relevant Life Sciences. :Prior lab background with cell culture and cell:based assays. :Background with fluorescence staining, microscopy, image analysis, flow cytometry. :Background with designing, fabrication and utilization of microfluidic and MEMS prototypes, AutoCAD. :Strong analytical, documentation and communication expertise.
