The Department of Public Safety is seeking applicants for a Criminal Justice Senior Statistical Researcherto support data analytics for the Denver Police Department. We are seeking someone with a passion for seeking truth from data and assist in developing system improvements. This position will research and analyze data using advanced statistical methods, identify data anomalies, determine alternatives and solutions, develop proposals and recommendations based on the analysis of data. This position will also play an integral role in driving the strategic direction of the Denver Police Department and will plan and conduct specialized and multi-dimensional analytical studies to aid in that goal. Position responsibilities will include: Mines data from disparate data sources and develops data models to improve crime prevention techniques.
