Associate Scientist I - (North Chicago, IL)

Position description Perform high:throughput experimentation to optimize chemical reactions, conduct solubility studies, and solid:form screening using robotic systems. Detailed Position overview * Operate and maintain a variety of liquid and solid handling robots * Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, UPMS, GC, NMR, etc. * Operate and maintain inert atmosphere glove box * Perform chemical reactions * Proficient with handling software for the robotic system * Maintain laboratory supplies * Stay up to date with the latest automation technologies and apply them as required * Train in:house scientists on the use of high:throughput automation equipment Qualifications * B.S. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering * Proficient with Ms excel and other data handling software * Comfortable with operating and maintaining highly automated robotic system * Demonstrated written/oral communication, project management, and collaborative skills are required for this position Company Description
