Industrial Architect - (North Chicago, IL)

Position description Summary: This person will provide Architecture leadership and guidance over global facility projects. The Architect is responsible for coordinating with other engineering disciplines including other architects, mechanical, clean utilities, I and C, electrical, and site personnel to ensure the design requirements are met. Project sizes will vary and will consist primarily of Bio Pharm/Pharma Facilities and Utilities projects including renovations and retrofits within existing facilities, as well as new construction projects. Essential responsibilities: :Develop standardized functional facility designs for pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory spaces. :Review existing facility designs and provide recommendations that address regulatory issues and/or improve efficiency. :Support projects through all phases of execution, including front end planning efforts, and direct/review the development of detailed construction documents for these facilities.
