Job details Messina Group seeks an Industrial Designer for our client in Vernon Hills, Illinois. This is a contract:to:hire opportunity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assignments include all aspects of developing custom temporary and permanent point:of:purchase displays, including: :Generating sketch concepts with design for manufacturing in mind :Creatively solving mechanical problems and devising cost:effective solutions :Developing a full engineering package in Solidworks for quoting, prototyping, and production components :Create photo:realistic 3D renderings as well as POP display prototypes with cost effectiveness, structural soundness, ease of use and cutting:edge marketing techniques in mind :Working directly with our team of designers, account executives, vendors, and project managers :Working with wood, metal, plastic (sheet, vacuum formed, and injection molded) and wire materials Requirements: :Bachelors degree in Industrial Design, or similar field, is preferred
