LOCATION: Greater Chicagoland area near Elgin, IL POSITION SUMMARY: Our client, a leading global manufacturer is looking for a Electrical Engineer. This position troubleshoots, repairs, modifies and designs control systems and CNC machines. Further assignments include PLC programming and diagnosing and replacing faulty electrical components of production machines. RESPONSIBILITIES: Improve, modify and Design automated production machinery Collaborate with vendors to design, implement and install machinery Supervise lower level Electrical Engineers/technicians/vendors Troubleshoot and repair automated production machinery Connect electric power to machines and equipment and control wires. Plan layout and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. Diagnose faulty machinery.
