Position description Mechanical CAD Designer / Drafter Purpose of this position is to create detailed and accurate Solid Models and Drawings using SolidWorks and /or AutoCAD software packages in a fast:paced engineering environment. Turret punch programming using SMP software will also be required for fabrication of sheet metal components. Assignments include: Generating 3D Models and 2D drawings for mechanical and HVAC Heat Exchanger applications and corresponding components and accessories Detailed component drawings and /or models for Sheet metal components Programming AMADA Turret punch, Press Brake, and Shear Creating 2:D Auto CAD drawings from field notes, verbal instructions, and /or photos Working with engineering and technical sales staff to develop various heat exchanger for HVAC applications including Condensers, Evaporators, Chilled Water Coils, etc.
