CAD Drafter - (Raleigh, NC)

Position description CAD Design/ Drafter Raleigh, NC 20.00/hr. CAD Drafter Responsibilities Creates CAD floor:plans and electrical one:lines. Assignments include transforming initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents. Review engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Manage the drawings and storage database and create, modify and document latest version of drawings. Work from sketches, notes, verbal instruction or existing drawings to prepare new and revised drawings for various automotive components. Collaborate closely with responsible Engineers to create various types of drawings (design, receiving inspection, customer approval, BOM assembly, etc.) Utilize drafting resources to maximize efficiency to carry out above mentioned tasks; including recommendations for hardware and software improvements/upgrades. Utilize corporate drawing standards as guidelines to complete work.
