Assistant Director of Recreation - (Schenectady, NY)

Assistant Director of Recreation / Activities Schenectady Center is actively looking to hire an Assistant Recreation/Activities Director for our skilled nursing facility. DUTIES: Will be responsible for assisting in developing, implementing, and supervising a full scope of recreational services in the Senior Adult Day Care program in order to stimulate customers to have fuller and richer lives. Assist in planning individual and group recreation services; both therapeutic and general, as well as, may need to supervise recreation assistants and volunteers. ?QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have an upbeat, positive and cheery attitude. Previous background doing activities in a Long-term Care setting or Adult Day Care setting strongly preferred. Must be reliable, responsible, and have the expertise to lead and inspire others.
