second Shift CNC Mill Machinist Our client is seeking an CNC Milling Machinist to join their second shift crew at their precision machining facility in the Buffalo, NY area. REPORTING TO: Shift Supervisor ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Operate CNC Mill MIN QUALIFICATIONS: ? Technical or Vocational degree and/or certificates preferred but not required, ? Thorough understanding of machining and manufacturing operations and processes ? Understanding of G and M codes, setup and operation of multi-axis CNC machine tools. ? Experience with both vertical and horizontal milling stations Fanuc CNC Controls ideal. ? 2-five years experience understanding and writing programs for Mills ideal ? Expertise to read and interpret blueprints/schematics, use of CAD software is a plus ? Strong math skills and issue solving expertise. ? Self motivated ? Expertise to work well with a team while also working independently. ? Detail oriented and expertise to organize and prioritize.
