Home Health Aide, Hospice - Hospice By The Bay - (Larkspur, CA)

Founded in 1975, Hospice by the Bay (HBTB) is California s 1st hospice and is the 2nd in the nation. Our nonprofit currently serves children of all ages, adult patients and their families in the counties of Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Sonoma, and the cities of Napa, American Canyon and Vallejo. A pioneer in the field for more than 44yrs, HBTB affiliated with UCSF in 2015. Hospice by the Bay is currently seeking a full-time Certified Home Health Aide to provide personal care services to terminally ill patients in the Marin area. The successful applicant will be required to work at least 1 day every weekend. Essential Duties & Assignments include: Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed. Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation. Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen. Assist with prescribed exercises as directed.
