Technology Training Specialist - (Cambridge, MA)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Working at the direction of the Technical Support Manager, the Technology Training Specialist will be responsible for the creation, coordination, and presentation of training and development programs for all end-users in the City. The Technology Training Specialist will also be responsible for coordinating technology training administered by City staff or outside individuals and organizations. Focusing on training for end-users in the City, the Technology Training Specialist will work with multiple groups to establish training objectives. These will include staff in Human Resources, IT Leadership with respect to planning projects, and support staff with respect to identifying areas of high support requests. The Technology Training Specialist will then work with supervisors in end-user departments to coordinate training, assist with securing the necessary training, and monitor progress to address training objectives.
