Training Manager - (Colona, IL)

Required functions: Leads and facilitates weekly new driver orientations and manages orientation schedule Facilitates introductions of Simplex Leasing internal staff to new drivers Reviews driver handbook, outlining all company policies and procedures Trains on driver safety, load securement and fuel management Reviews maintenance and equipment best practices Performs road tests prior to new drivers leaving orientation Communicates company goals and expectations to all new drivers Additional projects may be assigned with in the Safety and Recruitment Department Requirements: valid drivers license is a plus! Background in the transportation industry and transportation safety is a must!
