The primary purpose of this position is to perform duties as Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS)/Site Security Manager (SSM)/lead Verifying Official (VO) for the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS)/council and issue all military/dependents/retirees/DoD Civilian employees/contractors on requirements fo Common Access Card cards.Responsibilities Serves as the primary contact to the Defense Manpower Data Center and Air Force Personnel Center to resolve all RAPIDS hardware and software issues. Responsible for maintaining 9 DEERS stations to ensure all systems are in operation and consumable supplies on hand are adequate to meet the daily demands of the mission. As lead VO is responsible for researching and resolving DEERS issues through coordination with AFPC, DMDC, and other Armed Forces components project offices.
