As a Telecom Engineer, Senior you will be responsible for leading telecommunication initiatives. A senior will have a high degree of proficiency with Cisco UC and Collaboration technologies and it's dependencies including the underlying network technology, and must be able to provide Cisco Unified Communications design, implementation, support and management ability in a large scale multi-site environment. The senior is the 1st level of escalation for the Telecom Engineers, and as such it is expected they will mentor the engineers and administrators that depend on their support. Critical functions: Establish qualifications for and manages all phases of UC and Content Center projects including design, development, implementation, and support Have an in-depth understanding of the capabilities and features supported by Cisco UCM, UCCE, and related technologies Serves as an adviser to management and other Telecom staff for the implementation of collaboration related features and infrastructure
