Legal Secretary - Valley Operations Team - (Sacramento, CA)
Job overview: The Legal Secretary provides professional secretarial support to the Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and other members of the Valley Operations Team in the Office of the General Counsel ("OGC"). The incumbent also performs a wide variety of office functions such as typing correspondence, including letters, memorandums, contracts and reports generated by various members of the Valley Operations Team. Incumbent also assembles and distributes documents to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of work within the office. This position performs other department support duties as assigned in the Legal Services Division ("LSD"). The incumbent has the authority to complete routine tasks within normal position requirements. The incumbent makes those day-to-day decisions required to perform principle accountabilities. These decisions may include, but are not limited to, calendaring changes, dissemination of info, format changes on documents, etc.
