Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney - (Chicago, IL)

Position details Job ID: Washington, D.C. office of our client, a Chambers ranked law firm, is actively seeking associates to join our Computer Science Group. The applicant will serve in all phases of global patent practice, including preparation, prosecution, licensing, client counseling and litigation. Should have 2:5yrs of prior prosecution and intellectual property litigation (PAID-TIME-OFF and court) background. Advanced degree (master or doctorate) and/or industry background in electrical engineering, computer science, optics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and/or robotics is preferred. Background with America Invents Act proceedings is preferred. Must be actively licensed as an attorney in an appropriate U.S. jurisdiction. Additional Skills: Excellent academic credentials; Strong research, writing, and communication expertise is needed. Must have obtained a JD degree from an accredited law school.
