Technology Transactions Associate Attorney - (Boston, MA)

Job summary Job ID: Boston office of an AmLaw firm seeks licensing and technology attorney with 7+ years of background. The applicant should be well:versed in a wide spectrum of software and data transactions and commercial contracts. Extensive background in strategic licensing and general commercial licensing transactions for technology companies; strategic alliances and joint development agreements; open source issues; and due diligence in private equity and venture capital transactions is required. Background advising clients on a range of compliance strategies regarding privacy, data protection, international data transfers and cybersecurity is a plus. Must preferably have a strong technical background in engineering/computer science. Additional Skills: The applicant should have outstanding academic credentials; very strong drafting and written correspondence skills; excellent client relationship and people skills; and expertise to manage significant workflow, including more junior members of a team.
