Family Law Paralegal - (Mesa, AZ)

Boutique criminal defense law firm located in Mesa, AZ is seeking a junior level family law paralegal on a permanent basis. The paralegal must have a min of 2 years' background working on family law matters including child support, child custody, divorce, etc. Salary is based on background. Requirements: Coordinate law office activity including legal correspondence, execution of contracts, pleadings, documents, and management of calendars/deadlines. Assist with preparation of high level work product compliant with family court rules of procedure and local court rules. Maintain knowledge of local rules pertaining to (1) calendaring of case appearances and deadlines; and (2) submission of pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents. Maintain expert-level knowledge of family court rules of procedure and relevant local rules. Draft and negotiate contracts related to family or marital matters (e.g. Prenuptial Agreements, Child Custody Agreements, Marital Settlement Agreements, etc.)
