Finance Paralegal - (Hartford, CT)

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, 1 of the world's leading international law firms with almost 4000 lawyers and staff in 31 offices is seeking a Finance Paralegal reporting to the Paralegal Manager. This position will reside in the Hartford office and will be responsible for providing paralegal support to the attorneys in the Finance Practice. Responsibilities: Drafting transaction documentation with strict attention to detail, then coordinating execution of those documents Preparing and filing UCC financing statements and other documents to be recorded with federal, state and local filing offices Conducting procedural and factual research and UCC and other lien searches with appropriate filing offices Performing due diligence with regard to corporate good standing and authority and reviewing for accuracy Assisting with transaction closings; overseeing finalization and execution of securities and loan documentation Managing closing mechanics and verifying all requirements have been met before closing
