Job details: Performs and demonstrates competency, proficiency and understanding of the test procedures in the Clinical Laboratory up to and including high complexity testing. Education: Bachelor of Science Biology or Bachelor of Science Biochemistry or Chemistry or Bachelor of Science Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or Bachelor of Science Microbiology Required or Background: If no B.S Degree in the above areas, must have a Bachelor's Degree with specific completed course qualifications outlined below: sixteen semester or equivalent quarter units of chemistry, which must include clinical chemistry or analytical and biochemistry. eighteen semester or equivalent quarter units of biology, which must include hematology, immunology, and medical microbiology. three semester or equivalent quarter units of physics (light and electricity).
