Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Chemistry - (Daly City, CA)

Full time Chemistry Lead CLS needed at a top hospital right outside of San Francisco! Responsible for evaluating and implementing new tests, monitoring CAP survey performance, administering annual competency test, and maintaining quality for all testing procedures for the Chemistry section of the Clinical Laboratory. In addition, the Lead CLS will assist the Laboratory Manager and the Medical Laboratory Director to select and evaluate new hematology analyzers and conduct annual test procedure review. This Lead CLS reports directly to the Laboratory Manager. Qualifications: A baccalaureate degree in clinical laboratory or related sciences, with one-year hospital clinical training in an approved program. Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license. At least 2 years recent working background in the Chemistry section of a clinical laboratory. Must have technical skills and literacy.
