Dose Formulations and Analysis (DFA) Scientist - (Chicago, IL)

The ideal candidate will perform dose formulation analysis studies in support of preclinical drug development in a GLP environment. The duties and assignments include: Preparation of dose formulations for animal studies Demonstrating excellent laboratory skills to minimize failed runs Developing and validating HPLC methods for DFA Conducting pH, solubility, homogeneity and stability tests Conducing work in compliance with protocols and Standard Operating Procedures Recognizing problems in a timely manner and assist in executing corrective actions Organizing data packages in a manner to facilitate Quality Control (QC) reviews The applicant should have background in analytical chemistry including developing methods on HPLC. An superior written and verbal communication abilities, and the expertise to manage multiple projects in dynamic environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with formulation preparations (suspensions and solutions) and regulatory guidelines (GLP or GMP) is a plus.
