Quality Engineer : Polymers/Chemicals - (Akron, OH)

This Quality Engineer will be responsible for analyzing non:conforming products and materials for this growing division of a multi:billion dollar company . This position will work together with manufacturing to conduct root cause analysis, develop and implement corrective actions and assist with continuous improvement initiatives. The company is seeking applicants who can promote with the company as they continue to expand. Please apply if you have the following skills or background: Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Materials, Engineering or Technical. Background conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions into manufacturing. Background performing analytical testing including but not limited to FTIR, DSC, TGA and microscopy. Expertise or background building in:process and final inspection procedures and test qualifications. ASQ or 6 Sigma certification is a plus.
