Claims Administrator - (Indianapolis, IN)
Description PURPOSE: The purpose of the Claims Manager is to orchestrate and maintain the Risk Management claims systems software, supervise Claims Assistants and provide technical claims support to the Risk Management Department in the handling and processing of bodily injury, property damage, physical damage and cargo claims, and other duties as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Will report to the Vice President of Risk Management and General Counsel * Facilitate and implement the Risk Management claims software program within the department and update as needed for the processing, reporting and payment of accident, physical damage, cargo and general liability claims. * Supervise the Claims Assistants within the department. * Assist the Claims Director, the Cargo Claims Administrator, the Corporate Attorney and the Vice President of Risk Management and General Counsel in the handling, processing, reporting and payment of accident, cargo, physical damage and general liability claims.
