Assoc Athletic Director, External Relations - (Pomona, CA)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direct report to the Associate Vice President for University Development, the Associate Athletic Director (AAD) works with the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics to develop a quantified plan that identifies the resource needs of Athletics. University Development will be responsible for the articulation of those AAD activities designed to meet the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics' development goals in conjunction with the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. On a daily basis, the incumbent identifies and qualifies supporters/boosters, cultivates prospects, nurtures existing donors and supporters, prepares for and undertakes solicitation and funding proposals, and engages in stewardship activities that keep donors and friends informed, interested and engaged in the activities of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the University.
