Underwriting Assistant - (Troy, MI)

THE GIG We are looking for an Underwriting Assistant that will be responsible for assisting our Underwriting teams with gathering corrected documentation to facilitate loan approvals. They will also be responsible for compiling and analyzing data, and providing reports to Underwriting Leadership upon request. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING * Working with Underwriting teams to process requests for updates to required loan documents. * Call homeowners and title insurance companies to request policy corrections. * Track daily production, and provide data to Underwriting Leadership as requested. * Work with Underwriting Training Team to document processes. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU * High-school diploma * Microsoft office suite skills Outlook and Ms excel * Communicates effectively verbally and non-verbally
