Aerospace Engineer C&DH (Job Number:432782)Description:SAIC is hiring a Senior Principal Aerospace Engineer - Command and Data Handling Subsystem Engineering, in Chantilly, VA.POSITION DETAILS:The Vehicle Engineering (VE) branch requires an engineer with technical ability in spacecraft Command & Data Handling to include: data storage devices, on-board flight computers, command routing and distribution hardware and flight firmware and software. This position spans both the GEO & HEO orbital regimes. The selected applicant will be an integral participant in subsystem architecture, qualifications development and verification, and unit design of a combined C&DHS for both orbital regimes. Key areas of focus include hardware and software engineering, review of contractor designs, evaluation of operating modes, and witnessing of verification and validation activities.
