DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR AND SUPPORT ANALYST REPORTS TO: General Manager of IT EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelors (4-year) degree with a technical major, such as Details Systems or Computer Science BACKGROUND REQUIRED: * 2-four years SQL DBA Background BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION: Develops, creates, and modifies database applications and programs. Designs and maintain databases to ensure data integrity and efficient performance. Participates in all phases of system development including planning, evaluation, integration, testing, and implementation. Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at automated solutions. Works well independently and as a team leader and member on immediate qualifications as well as long-term projects.
