Barney's Beanery Bartenders work hard, work as a team, make the customers feel at home, and make great money. Sound like fun? It is, but it requires a specific skill set. You must be organized an precise, responsible, presentable, out-going, positive, and forward-thinking. You should have great retention of knowledge attained through training of the entire food and drink menu, recipes and prices, and location and placement of items behind the bar. You must be able to converse well with just about anyone, and deliver drinks very quickly and accurately to bar patrons and servers while still focusing in on each customer's specific needs. Other duties include cleaning of the bar and surrounding cities, some table-service, and bar prep.
