New York City office of our client seeks mid-to senior private equity attorney with 5+ years of background in corporate transactions with an emphasis on private equity transactions and general mergers and acquisitions work. The applicant must have a strong working understanding of acquisition agreements and the securities filings and other documentation utilized in complex mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions and proficiency in the drafting and negotiation of the same. Should be well-versed in the mechanics of leading a mergers and acquisitions transaction from inception to closing, background leading due diligence teams, general corporate and corporate governance background. New York Bar admission is essential. Background with cross-border transactions and representing financial advisors also would be helpful.
