Operations Shift Supervisor - (Urbana, IL)

Overview: II-VI EpiWorks is seeking to fill second and third shift supervisory roles in a semiconductor cleanroom manufacturing environment under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. This position will be responsible for planning and supervising on-shift operations activities to meet daily production and quality goals. Applicants must possess outstanding written and oral communications abilities and be able to direct and motivate on-shift personnel. Applicants must have a strong technical aptitude and prior background supervising nonexempt employees. Main responsibilities: * Direct supervision of cleanroom production staff * Organizing and directing work flow to achieve shift production and quality goals * Shift turnover and completing assigned reports and logs * Make schedule adjustments for PAID-TIME-OFF and short notice absences * Continuous improvement projects and updating and improving procedures * Identifying and reducing waste * Supporting training schedules and providing training where possible *
