Director, Risk Management and Insurance Program - (Richmond, KY)

Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky seeks a dynamic leader to serve as the next Director of the Risk Management & Insurance (RMI) program and the newly created EKU Center for Insurance. The new Director will also hold the Robert B. Morgan Chair in Insurance. Tenure is available for qualified and currently tenured candidates. Exceptionally well-qualified non-tenured candidates may also be considered for tenure. The successful candidates responsibilities will be: (1) to lead and grow the RMI program, (2) to teach 2 RMI courses per semester, (3) to foster increased alliances with the insurance industry, and (4) to be actively involved in research and publication. The Director will lead the annual International Insurance Studies student trip to London, England and will oversee the programs annual Morgan Insurance Conference. The successful applicant will possess an earned doctorate in insurance, risk management or a related position.
