Overview Coordinator Insurance Appeals Full time, days, 80 hours per pay period Position overview: This position provides leadership, direction and training for the Financial Services staff. Working directly with the Vice President of Clinical Effectiveness, Coding Specialist, Manager of Clinical Effectiveness and Director of Registration and Financial Services. Analyzes all insurance denials for appropriateness of appeal. Prepares necessary documentation for insurance appeals process, ensuring timely follow through. Maintains electronic appeals database for statistical and educational reporting. Assists in training of Medical Staff, Registration and Clinical Effectiveness as it relates to denials. Serves as a liaison between Billing, Clinical Effectiveness and Financial Services departments.
