Sr Claims Representative - (Itasca, IL)

Job summary: Our Auto Claims Team is seeking a Senior Claims Representative to join our Itasca team. Summary: Fully responsible for the analysis, investigation, evaluation, negotiation and resolution of claims requiring thorough investigations including telephone contacts with the involved parties; technical ability and complex analysis. Claim assignments are regional and may involve both personal and commercial customers. This is a Full time Exempt role. Responsibilities/Critical functions: * Must have or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing-ed credits. * May be responsible for all aspects of each claim, including informal hearings, arbitrations, mediations, depositions, small number of litigated cases and maintaining a high-level of productivity, confidentiality and customer service. * Works within specific limits and authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity.
