Engineer/Scientist III - Performs engineering, scientific or analytic tasks in complex technical or scientific areas. Work directly with members and EPRI staff. Critical responsibilities â?¢ Conduct research searches and analyze technical details in areas of protection & control, circuit breakers and instrument transformers. â?¢ Conduct independent field research at the direction of the project manager in the area of protection and control, transformers and circuit breakers. â?¢ At direction of project manager and senior technical staff develop test plans and work with laboratory staff to implement them; independently set up lab and perform testing (especially in area of protection and control); support technology assessment research â?¢ Assists project/program managers in assessing customer needs, formulating technical approaches, preparing proposals and making presentations. â?¢ Assist project managers & senior technical staff in implementing project tasks.
