Engineering Manager - (Norfolk, VA)

Job Information The Engineering Manager reports to the Director of Engineering. The Engineering Manager is overall responsible for the daily planning, work scheduling, coordination and operational performance of the department personnel. The manager retains 24-hour responsibility but may utilize Supervisory staff to coordinate activities. The manager is expected to independently carry out assigned responsibilities, but seeks guidance from the Director and/or upper management when needed. Background, Education and Training Min: High-school graduate or equivalent preferred. Technical training and work background in a trade with a masters level preferred or equivalent background and/or training. Broad knowledge of all other trades. 5 or more years of supervisory or lead background desired. Must possess a valid Virginia drivers license and be able to meet the insurance qualifications of the hospital.SDL2017
