Certified Caregiver - (Fort Huachuca, AZ)

MUST POSSESS THE 3 LEVELS OF CARE CERTIFICATION IN STATE OF ARIZONA. Supervisory, Directed, and Personal. Job overview: Caregivers, while under direct supervision of the Executive Director, provide direct resident care, complete assignments as a universal worker, assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for residents, and uphold Prestiges core values of respect, integrity, commitment and trust. Critical functions: * Provides resident care under the supervision of a Manager or certified caregiver while promoting resident dignity, independence and choice, regularly observes residents physical and mental conditions and reports changes to the PCA, Health Services Director/Resident Services Director or Expressions Coordinator. * Assists with ADLs, using Cooperative Service Plans. * Takes vital signs as assigned. * Assists residents to and from dining room and activities. * Performs 1st Aid and initiates emergency response procedures as required.
