Laborer - (Eden, NC)

The Laborer performs construction work covering many unskilled classifications requiring work of a physical nature. Workers should be able to follow specific directions; perform a variety of duties which may often change; work within standards of accuracy; repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure; evaluate info using measurable standards.Qualifications: High-school diploma or equivalent. Prefer a min of 2 (2) years demonstrated relevant background as a laborer, described above, capability for fieldwork involving heavy lifting and climbing over rough terrain under various weather conditions. Special Position responsibilities: When outside, incumbent may work in seasonal inclement weather and adverse environmental conditions. Must be physically fit and able to lift, move and/or carry up to 50 pounds of field gear and able to perform fieldwork that sometimes involves walking long distances in extreme weather conditions. Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
