Buyer/Planner - (Lyndhurst, NJ)

Position responsibilities * 5+ years planning inventory management experience in manufacturing environment. * APICS certification a plus. * B.S. degree in business management or industrial engineering/management. * Proficiency in SAP. * Must be hands on and able to work with all levels of the organization in a team environment. * Thorough understanding of materials management theory including MRP & DRP system. Perfect applicant will have exposure to JIT/ Lean manufacturing concepts. * Must understand the concepts of Value Chain/ Supply Chain and the relationship each component has on the others. * Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures particular in the fields of materials management and export.
